Easy to use spot spray: Mix with 15-20 gallons of water and direct spray onto salty areas.

For whole field use:  Use in irrigation systems, in-furrow, or mix with pre-emerge or herbicide.  Dig into soil for best results.  Take back those acres you are losing to salt!

Easy to use

Salt-B-Gone is very easy to handle and use. Designed to work with liquid fertilizer formulations, irrigation systems, and sprinkler systems.

The formulation is fast-acting and will absorb well into your soil.

Directions

Field Maintenance

Use 1 cup per acre mixed with starter fertilizer and run through in-furrow.

Spray on Field Correction-Spot Spray

Use 2 quarts of Salt-B-Gone per acre, mixed with 15-20 gallons of water and spray topical.

Furrow Correction

Use 1 quart of Salt B Gone per acre mixed with starter fertilizer and run in-furrow.

Dead Zone Spot Correction

Use 1-2 gallons of Salt-B-Gone mixed with 15-20 gallons of water and spray topical.

Salinity in Soil Use Rate
Field Maintenance 1/2-1 cup per acre
In-Furrow Correction 1 quart per acre

Use Rates

Best results come from obtaining a soil test to find out current soil salinity (ppm). Maintain soil moisture, if possible, throughout the year. Use PHXR to adjust water, use 6-8 fl oz per acre. Keeping between 5.5-6.5 for best results.

  • 2 quarts per acre
  • For above-average salt areas: 1-2 gallons per acre in “dead zones” with 15-20 gallons of water per acre
  • Rates can be changed based on the response to the program
  • For normal to above average soil salinity: use 1-2 quarters per acre with 10-15 gallons of water, applied either in Fall or during planting
